Inspired by the artwork of Ancient Asia, Badali Jewelry artist J. Ryan Cazier designed and hand carved this brooch style dragon pin. Dragons are considered symbols of strength, balance, and fortitude. The dragon brooch is skillfully crafted one at a time in your sterling silver, 24k gold plated sterling silver, or 14k yellow gold. Each pin is carefully hand finished and individually inspected for the highest quality. The back of the dragon is stamped with our copyright hallmark and the metal content, STER (sterling) or 14K, ensuring our jewelry is made of the finest metals. The 24k gold plated pin has a surface treatment that will eventually wear away over time. How quickly a surface treatment will wear away is dependent on the daily wear and tear the item will be exposed to.
The dragon pin measures approximately 36 mm (1 7/16") from head to tail, 19 mm (3/4") wide, and 5 mm (3/16") thick. The brooch weighs approximately 6.7 grams in sterling silver, approximately 8.4 grams in 14k gold. Includes either a nickel or 14k gold brooch pin.
The dragon pin is available with a black antiquing finish - as photographed; a plain silver, a plain gold finish - just the metal, no treatment; or an optional red antiquing for an additional $10.00.
