As a life long Tolkien fan, Paul J. Badali has envisioned the design for the three Elven Rings of Power™. That vision has been made manifest in precious metal. Inspired by The Lord of the Rings™ trilogy, the immortal works of J.R.R. Tolkien comes Nenya, the Elven Ring of Power owned by Galadriel™. Each ring is carefully handcrafted one at a time by the Badali Jewelry artists. Nenya is an officially licensed Lord of the Rings replica with Middle-earth Enterprises.
Nenya is described as being made of Mithril™, a silver colored metal. Each ring is skillfully crafted in your choice of sterling silver, 10k white or yellow gold, 14k white or yellow gold, 14k rose gold and 14k palladium white gold (nickel free white gold). Rose gold and palladium white gold are custom order options and are non-returnable or refundable.
Nenya was designed using the beautiful leaves of the trees of Lothlorien™. Tolkien described the leaves as those of the European Beech, a tree that he loved. Nenya is also called the Ring of Adamant™, Adamant is the old English word for diamond. For that reason, Nenya is set with a 1ct. Signity Star cubic zirconia, the highest brilliance CZ on the market.
Nenya is available in in US sizes 4 to 15, in whole and half sizes. Sizes 13 1/2 (13.5) and larger are an additional $15.00 in sterling silver, an additional $45.00 US in gold. The ring measures approximately 8 mm (5/16") from top to bottom and the back of the band measures approximately 2.8 mm (1/8") wide. Weighs approximately 4 grams is sterling silver / approximately 4.4 grams in 10k gold / approximately 5 grams in 14k gold. Weight will vary with size.
When Frodo™ saw Galadriel's ring Nenya in the forest of Lorien™, the stone glittered and shone like it held a star from the heavens. Moissanite - the star born stone, is a lab grown stone that has more shimmering brilliance, fire and luster than diamonds and has an incredible hardness. Discovered a century ago by Nobel Prize Winner Henri Moissan, Moissan found minute quantities of a new mineral in an ancient meteorite from the remote Diablo Canyon in Arizona. 1/2 ct. (5mm) Round Moissanite is available for an additional $420.00, 3/4 ct. (6mm) round Moissanite for an additional $594.00, and 1 ct. (6.5mm) round Moissanite for an additional $807.00. Adding Moissanite to your Nenya is a custom upgrade and is non-returnable.
For those who prefer a colored stone, faceted 1ct. (6.5mm) round synthetic Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby or Sapphire are available for an additional $10.00 US.
If you prefer a flat set stone, 6x4 mm lab grown White Star Sapphire (star appears in sunlight), genuine Opal or genuine Moonstone cabochon gemstones are available for an additional $10.00 US.
The leaf details on Nenya can be enhanced with a black jeweler's antiquing treatment, available for an additional $5.00 US.
A matching tracer band has been designed to fit on either side of Nenya for a ladies engagement and wedding set. We have also designed a matching Men's version of Nenya.
