Each Faith, Hope, Love Rune Ring is skillfully handcrafted one at a time in sterling silver. The ancients believed that Elder Futhark Runes possessed magical causative and predictive powers. Elder Futhark runes can be used as positive affirmations and can be worn as a talisman to attract them into the wearer's life. A rune ring can aid in bringing the goals, desires, or needs expressed in runic phrases into the wearer's life.
The ring reads TRU VON AST, Icelandic for Faith, Hope, Love. Iceland was settled by the Vikings and remained isolated for much of its history. The language and culture have remained pure and uncontaminated by foreign influence. It is the closest modern language to ancient Norse.
The Faith, Hope, Love rune ring is available in US sizes 5 to 20, in whole and half sizes. Sizes 13.5 and larger are an additional $15.00 US. The ring measures approximately 6.5 mm (1/4") top to bottom and 1.6 mm (1/16") thick. Weight will vary with size.
Note: The black antiquing begins and ends with the runes. It is not applied around the entire ring. The area of the ring without runes is plain silver. The larger the ring, the more plain silver will be at the back of the ring.
