Oberon's Iron Amulet

Back to List

Direct from the pages of the Iron Druid Chronicles™ by Kevin Hearne comes Oberon's Iron Amulet.  Each dog pendant is skillfully crafted in solid iron, carefully hand finished, and individually inspected for the highest quality by the Badali Jewelry artists.  The Iron Druid Chronicles teardrop iron amulet is an officially licensed Iron Druid Chronicles replica through Kevin Hearne.  Mr. Hearne personally approves each piece of jewelry designed by Badali Jewelry.

The teardrop iron amulet is worn by Oberon, Atticus's Irish wolfhound.  Oberon's Iron Necklace is one of four looped pendants forged by Goibhniu, one of the Fae, in Tír na nÓg from a cold iron meteorite.  Atticus places the amulet on Oberon's collar to provide him protection from Fae magic, infernal hexes, several forms of old craft from Europe and Kabbalistic spells.

The iron amulet measures approximately 47.7 mm (1 7/8") long, 12.5 mm (1/2") wide and 12.5 mm (1/2") thick.  The bail measures approximately 4.3 mm (3/8") wide.  Oberon's amulet weighs approximately 21 grams.  Includes a nickel plated key ring.  Does not include a dog collar.

Note: Prolonged exposure to water or moisture will cause iron to rust.  Rust can be removed from your iron pendant by rubbing it with cloth dipped in any form of vegetable oil.

I love this Amulet! I picked this piece at the Emerald City ComiCon back in April 2016. I was impressed by it then and I still am 6 months later. It's detail is very well done and it's about what I imagined in my head in reading Kevin's books. It's strong enough to protect your feisty 4 legged best friend like Oberon but it does have a little bit of weight to it, so maybe not for your under 6 pound 4 legged best friend. I was lucky enough to get Kevin to sign the little card that comes inside the amulet package.
