Inspired from the pages of The Demon Cycle™ by Peter V. Brett, the Badali Jewelry artists have created the Water Ward™ Medallion. Each Water Ward necklace is skillfully crafted one at a time in solid sterling silver, carefully hand finished, and individually inspected for the highest quality. The ward necklaces are officially licensed The Demon Cycle jewelry through Peter V. Brett.
The origins of the magical Ward symbols have been lost to history, but their power was rediscovered after the demon corelings returned to plague the surface of the world. The Ward symbols themselves have no power, but when they are infused with core magic siphoned from a demon, the ward will repurpose that magic to repel the creature. Most Ward symbols are defensive in nature, but a handful can achieve other magical effects including offensive Wards which can actually harm Demons.
The Water Ward is a defensive symbol used to protect the wearer against Water Demons or Lake Demons. Water demons live in lakes and attack swimmers and ships that sail at night.
The Water Ward medallion measures approximately 27.8 mm (1 1/16") long, 24.8 mm (just under 1") at the widest point, and 2 mm (1/16") thick. The ward pendant weighs approximately 4.3 grams. The back of the pendant is textured, stamped with our copyright hallmark and the metal content, STER (sterling); ensuring our jewelry is made of the finest metals.
Choose from a 24" long stainless steel curb chain or a 24" long black leather cord. A 20" long 1.2mm sterling silver box chain is available for an additional $25.00.
The water ward pendant is available with a black antiquing finish - as photographed, or a plain silver finish - just the metal, no treatment.
