Hemalurgy™ is the third magic system in the Mistborn® universe. Allomancy™ is the art of Preservation, Feruchemy™ is the art of balance, and Hemalurgy is the art of Ruin. The transfer of power with Hemalurgy actually destroys part of it. The Badali Jewelry artists have created a Hemalurgic spike as a ring. The sterling silver spike wraps around your finger, forming the band. The Hemalurgy spike ring is officially licensed with Brandon Sanderson.
The Hemalurgy rings are available in US sizes 6 to 13, in whole, half, and quarter sizes. Rings in sizes 6 to 9 1/4 (9.25) measures approximately 6.5 mm (just under 1/4") wide and 4.8 mm (just over 1/8") thick at the head of the spike. The ring tapers down to approximately 1.5 mm (1/16") wide and 1.5 mm (1/16") thick at the tip of the spike.
Larger sized rings, sizes 9 1/2 (9.5) - 13 measure approximately 8.8 mm (5/16") wide and 5.5 mm (3/16") thick at the head of the spike. The ring tapers down to approximately 1.5 mm (1/16") wide and 1.5 mm (1/16") thick at the tip of the spike. The larger sized rings have less of an overlap between the head and the tip of the spike than the smaller sized rings and are partially carved out on the inside of the band to increase comfort.
The Hemalurgy rings weigh approximately 8.3 grams in sterling silver, weight will vary with size. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and sterling.
