In Brian McClellan's Powder Mage™ universe, The Mad Lancers™ were a cavalry battalion founded by the legendary Colonel Benjamin Styke™. They were famed for their bravery and recklessness, as well as wearing medieval armor laced with powerful protective sorcery. Original members of the Mad Lancers wore a large skull ring with a lance emerging from one of the skull's eyes and the battalion's banner forming the band. The largest version of the ring was worn by Ben Styke. The Badali Jewelry artist, Paul Badali, worked directly with Brian McClellan to create the Mad Lancer Ring replica. The Mad Lancer Ring is skillfully crafted in sterling silver and is officially licensed with the author.
The Mad Lancer Ring is available in US sizes 8 - 15, in whole and half sizes. If you would like a quarter size please select the closest whole or half size here, then add the actual size you'd like in the special instructions area during check out. Silver and white bronze versions of Ben Styke's ring are available, Click Here to view. The ring measures approximately 25 mm (1") from head to chin, 16 mm (5/8") wide at the skull, and stands 8.5 mm (5/16") off the finger. The back of the band measures approximately 7 mm (1/4") wide. The ring weighs approximately 24.5 grams, weight will vary with size. The underside of the skull is partially carved out to reduce weight. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and metal content - sterling.
