The Steel Alphabet charms are officially licensed Mistborn jewelry through Brandon Sanderson. A Misting who can burn brass is known as a Soother. Brass allows Mistborn and Soothers to soothe or dampen the emotions of others.

Details: The Brass charm is sterling silver and includes an unsoldered sterling silver jump ring. Each Brass symbol measures 14.6 mm long, 9.5 mm wide and 1.6 mm thick. The charm weighs 1.1 grams.
