We are a cast - to - order company, please allow a minimum of 5 - 10 business days for your order to be made. For more information and exceptions see "When will I get my order" and "Processing/Production Time Delays or Changes" below.

Jewelry dimensions are listed in millimeters (26 mm = 1 inch) and all handmade processes are subject to small variation.

To order Rings in ¼ & ¾ sizes: Select a size closest to your ring size. At checkout, in the special instructions area, type the ring size needed.

Nickel Allergy:
-Our sterling silver is alloyed with 7.5% copper, it is never alloyed with nickel.
-We do have a handful of nickel plated bronze pieces. All bronze pieces containing Nickel are listed as "White Bronze" and have it listed in the description where possible.
-Our White Gold is alloyed with nickel, as is industry standard. We do plated all White Gold with Rhodium. If you have a nickel allergy, please contact us about pricing for 14K Palladium White Gold.
-Most of our chains are stainless steel or sterling silver. Alternative chains are available but metal content varies depending on the chain.

Sterling Silver Allergy
-With a handful of exceptions due to licensing, our pieces can be made in solid gold or platinum even if you do no see a listing for it on our site. You are always welcome to contact us for a quote on having a piece made into solid gold or platinum.
-We do have the ability to gold plate, but we do not offer it standard as our gold plating is a thinner layer than that of an industrial plating facility. The plating will wear off eventually and we do not recommend gold plating if you are having it plated to avoid an allergic reaction.

-Earring wires (hooks) are available in alternate metals. We have Sterling Silver Ear Wires and Steel Ear Wires available in house. If you are interested in solid gold ear wires as an alternative, please contact us for quotes.

If the email is from badalijewelry@badalijewelry.com, minka@badalijewelry.com, or hillarie@badalijewelry.com then yes. We require identity verification for all orders containing high priced items, orders totaling over $500, or that Shopify tags as possible fraud risks.

No, we currently do not do custom engraving. Consult your local jeweler or trophy engraving shop and verify if they have experience engraving jewelry before you have the engraving done.

To access your rewards points, just click on the button in the bottom left of your screen. It should show a picture of a present with a bow and say "Rewards" on it. It is possible that the image and word may not always show up, but the button should be there and will stay in the bottom left as you scroll.

We don't suggest it.  The ring is cast in bronze which can oxidize and turn green with constant contact from your finger and the sweat from your hands.  These rings are intended to be worn as a necklace pendant, not as a ring on the finger.  They are only available in one size.

Don't panic, the ring is solid sterling silver (92.5% Silver). 1 in 70 people get a "green finger effect" due to the acidity in their skin (sweat) reacting with the alloy in sterling silver. Often, mass-produced silver jewelry is industrial plated with rhodium (same metals family as platinum). Hand crafted silver rings usually are not rhodium plated.

If you are having this reaction, we are happy to plate your ring with rhodium. For almost all of our rings, we offer this service for free, but there are a few rings that will require an additional fee for the plating, due to the complexity of the ring, such as the Engagement Ring of Aragorn and Arwen. Please feel free to contact us to see if your ring would require an additional fee. Just send the ring back with a copy of your sales receipt and a note that you need the ring rhodium plated. NOTE: We suggest insuring the package for the value of the ring. We will not replace or refund rings lost or stolen in the mail while in delivery from you to us.

Another solution is to simply clean the ring every day with a silver polishing cloth. They can be found at local jewelry stores or department store jewelry counters. After about a week or two, the reaction should stop occurring.

Yes, please contact us for prices and availability.  These are considered Special Order Items and are not returnable or refundable. 

There are some exceptions, for example we can not do custom stones in the Dresden Files Ice Opal Earrings, the Lab ruby Pentacle, or the Lord of the Rings Necromancer Ring.

Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to take on any custom design requests. We will update this question when that changes, as we do love working with you to make unique and wonderful pieces.

We reserve the right to adjust production or processing times during holiday seasons, staffing issues, or any unforeseen issues.

No. While upgrading your shipping does help in getting your order faster, it does not count as a rush fee. Selecting a faster and more expensive shipping option only changes the shipping. Should you want to place a rush order, please contact us for cost and availability. If you choose to refund the faster shipping, we will change the order to the default shipping option.

Yes, a silver ring is $20.00 for resizing and the return US shipping. A gold ring is $50 for resizing and return US shipping.  (Additional shipping charges apply outside of the US; email [badalijewelry@badalijewelry.com] us for applicable charge).

Mail the ring back in a well-padded mailer or box and insure the package through the shipping method you use.  We do not replace or refund jewelry lost or stolen in the mail when returned for resizing.

Items can be returned for a refund within 30 days of the date of delivery.  There is a 15% restocking fee and shipping is not refundable.  If any minor damage has been caused due to normal wear or improper packaging of the returned item, an additional $20.00 fee will be assessed.  Severely damaged items will not be refunded.  Custom orders, platinum jewelry, rose gold, or palladium white gold items are not returnable or refundable.  An 85% refund will be issued once the item is returned to us in its original condition along with proof of purchase.  Refunds will be issued by the same form of payment originally received when the order was placed.  Items should be returned in protective and insured packaging.  We are not responsible for items lost or stolen in delivery.

No, we do not buy back jewelry. We do not refund items past the 30 day return policy window.

No, we do not trade in or buy metal, gemstones, or jewelry.

We are working on getting these back up and running. The old C and C machine we used to make them died and we are currently in the process of trying to acquire a new one. They are rather spendy machines and so some other projects have taken priority. Trust us, we want them back just as much as you do.

Shipping FAQ

If you would like to arrange a pick up time, please email us first.

We do not have a store front and do not accept walk-ins. Any customer being in the shop must have an appointment.

Production time averages 5 to 10 business days from the date you ordered*.

We usually sprue up on Tuesdays and cast on Wednesdays.

Please note that upgraded shipping does not change production time. While upgrading your shipping does help in getting your order faster, it does not count as a rush fee. If you are curious about what is in stock that can ship right away or if you have a deadline you would like to try and make, please email us.

*EXCEPTIONS:
-Gold orders are 5-10 business days from date of order verification, not the date the order was placed.
-Platinum orders are about 10-20 business days from date of order verification, not the date the order was placed.
-Moissanites can some times add 1 - 5 business days to production time since we do not keep Moissanites in stock.
-Large quantities of an item or items will effect the production time.
-Holidays and conventions can effect production times.

Typically, the reasons you will see "pre-transit" or "not picked up" on the tracking is due to processing time or business days.

-During Holidays and Weekend, packages might not be picked up or dropped off or it will stay put until shipping resumes on a business day.

-Labels will sometimes be printed a day or two before we actually ship the order in an effort to prep for the day it ships. This typically will happen around the holidays when we have a massive influx of orders. We only have one, maybe two, people packing orders for shipping. If a label has been made, but it looks like is hasn't moved from our store, it means it is in the cue to be packed.

Please contact us if your order has not moved out of "pre-transit" in over 4 or 5 days and there hasn't been a weekend/holiday.

If a package is marked "delivered" but you have not received it:

-Sometimes a package will be marked as "delivered" but will actually be delivered the next business day. We can only speculate as to why this happens.

- Please check with neighbors or building staff or management.

- If it has been a day or two, please contact the carrier before contacting us. All we can do is file a claim and there is a waiting period. Filing a claim will also require your participation. Depending on the circumstance, we will not refund or replace orders until after the claim has been processed or finalized.

Signature Requirement

All high value packages will require a signature upon delivery.

  • USPS Ground Advantage Shipping - Delivery Time 7-10 business days with tracking and fully insured.
  • USPS Priority Mail - Averages 2 to 7 business days depending on location.  Fully insured with limited tracking through USPS.com.
  • FedEx/UPS 2 Day - Delivers in 2 business days, does not include Saturday or Sunday.  Fully insured with detailed tracking through FedEx.com.
  • FedEx/UPS Standard Overnight - Delivers in 1 business day, does not include Saturday or Sunday.  Fully insured with detailed tracking through FedEx.com.

Shopify will sometimes have other options listed, but these are our standard and recommended shipping options.

Available shipping options and estimated delivery times can vary! Variables can be seen during check out. 

USPS First-Class Package International Service - Averages 7 - 21 business days, but can take up to six weeks for delivery.  Fully insured, but NO TRACKING once the package leaves the US.

USPS Priority Mail International - Averages 6 - 10 business days, but can take up to two weeks for delivery.  Fully insured, but NO TRACKING once the package leaves the US.

USPS Priority Mail Express International - Averages 3 - 7 business days, but can take up to 9 business days.  Fully insured with limited tracking through USPS.com.

UPS International Shipping - Delivery time varies.  UPS International rates and estimated shipping times can be calculated at checkout.

DHL eCommerce - Can take anywhere from 5 days to 30 days depending on location. Please note that as of 11/2025 we have seen significant delays and customs issues with DHL eCommerce.

DHL Worldwide - 2 - 10 days depending on location.

There are addresses we cannot ship to due to customs regulations banning the import of jewelry, precious metals, or gems. Feel free to contact us with your address as exceptions may exist to your address location. We reserve the right to remove or add countries we service at any time. (Shopify also updates regularly, so if your country is listed in our shipping policy but not available, that usually means something has changed and Shopify has updated where we can ship to.) Import duty fees and/or customs taxes are not included with shipping charges.  These charges are the recipient's responsibility at the time of delivery.  Packages refused at the time of delivery will not be refunded.  We do not have access to charges or fees applicable to your location.  We suggest contacting your local post office or customs official for that information.

PLEASE NOTE: With Postal strikes, new tariffs, and laws changing. This list might not be accurate or up to date.

Canada, France, Sweden, Switzerland, and Spain have had delays and customs issues and returns recently. If you are ordering from one of these countries please follow the tracking closely. If there are any delays please contact your local carrier. There is nothing we can do to speed up or change the delivery once it leaves our shop.
