Optional Finish:

As a life long fan of The Lord of the Rings™, Paul J. Badali has long envisioned the design for the Elven Rings of Power™.  That vision has been made manifest in precious metal.  The design for Narya, the Elven Ring of Power owned by Gandalf the Gray ®is directly inspired by the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien.  Each ring is carefully handcrafted one at a time by the Badali Jewelry artists and individually inspected for the highest quality.  Narya The Great™ is available in your choice of sterling silver, 10k yellow or white gold, 14k yellow or white gold, 14k rose gold, and 14k palladium white gold (nickel free white gold).  Rose gold and palladium white gold are custom options and are non-returnable/non-refundable.  Narya is an officially licensed Lord of the Rings replica with Middle-earth Enterprises.

Narya is described as a gold ring holding a stone as red as fire.  Each ring is set with a 12 x 10 mm faceted lab grown Ruby (red corundum) weighing approximately 5.5 to 6 carats.  Narya is available in US sizes 5 to 20, in whole and half sizes. Sizes 13 1/2 (13.5) to 20 are an additional $15.00 in sterling silver or an additional $45.00 in gold.

Narya measures approximately 17 mm (just over 5/8") from top to bottom and the band measures 3 mm (1/8") wide.  Narya weighs approximately 6 grams in sterling silver, approximately 6.6 grams in 10k gold, and approximately 7.5 grams in 14k gold.  Weight will vary with size.

Narya Options:

An optional lab grown 12 x 10 mm Star Ruby cabochon gemstone can be substituted for the lab ruby for an additional $90.00.  Or a 12 x 10 mm Natural Garnet cabochon gemstone can be substituted for the lab ruby for an additional $25.00.

Narya is also called the Ring of Fire.  The element of fire is represented by the flame pattern all around the ring ring.  The flames lick up the sides of the stone, holding it in place.  The ring is available with flame colored enameling within the flame design for an additional $30.00.  Or the flame pattern can be heightened with a black jeweler's antiquing for an additional $5.00.

Narya the Great, the Ring of Fire, the Red Ring, The Ring of Gandalf and Cirdan. And a fantastic interpretation at that. For the record, I ordered silver with flame enameling. First thing you notice when that box is opened is that amazing stone. The brilliance, the redness, it's beyond fantastic. The most perfect red one could dream of. I am SO thrilled that I splurged and got the flame detail. It really, really brings out the design. While Vilya will remain my favorite(and it's now become my signature ring), Narya is certainly Number 2.
