"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men, doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne . . ."In the latter part of the second age of Middle-Earth Sauron presented nine rings to nine men. This is the ring of Umbar, the seaport stronghold once controlled by the Numenoreans.
Metal: Sterling Silver
Finish: Antiqued, Rhodium Plated, and Black Ruthenium Plating*
Dimensions: The ring measures 12.3 mm at the widest part of the band, 5.9 mm wide at the back of the band, and stands 5 mm tall from your finger to the top of the stone.
Stone: The ring is set with a 8x6 mm genuine amethyst cabochon gemstone.
Weight: 6.7 grams, weight will vary with size.
Stamp and Makers Mark: The inside of the band is stamped with our maker’s mark, copyright, and STER.
Size Options: The Umbar ring is available in US sizes 6 to 20, in whole, half, and quarter sizes (sizes 13.5 to 20 are an additional $15.00).We strongly recommend getting your finger sized at a jewelry store.
*Note about Ruthenium plating: Due to equipment limitations at our shop, the plating is quite thin. If the jewelry is worn daily, the plating will probably start to wear off within a week's time, especially with rings. We do offer a free one-time re-plating, and then offer re-plating services for $15 after the first time, which covers labor and the price of the return shipping to you. The color of the plating may look different in real life than on a screen due to monitor values. Unless stated otherwise, most photos are taken under studio lighting.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

 Germanyslim and shy ;)
The quality is like always fantastic! There is no doubt about that. :) But from all 9 rings of men he is with the ring of the haradrim more like a decent ring for female. ;) (my opinion) He remember me a little bit more to a female elven ring (my opinion) But still..... I love it.... :)

 United StatesMore Feminine
This one is brighter than most of the other rings of men and smaller, too. If that’s not something you want, then you might not want this one. The detail is intricate and small- as many of their other pieces. The stone looks a little more like plastic, for some reason. I like it, but it isn’t my favorite of the rings of men.

Umbar arrived a lot sooner than expected. It fits perfect and looks just like the one you had at GenCon. I own three other rings by your company and love each one.
