Rings of Men - The NECROMANCER™

One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne . . ."

In the latter part of the second age of Middle-Earth Sauron presented nine rings to nine men.  This is the ring of the Necromancer, the name the Dark Lord Sauron hid under as he healed after his defeat in the War of the Ring at the hand of Isildur. 

Metal: Sterling Silver

Finish: Antiqued, Rhodium Plated, and Black Ruthenium Plating*

Dimensions: The ring 18.8 mm at the widest part of the band, 5 to 5.5 mm wide at the back of the band, and stands 7.4 mm tall from your finger to the top of the stone. 

Stone: The ring is set with a 14 x 10 mm man made black fire opal.**

Weight: 16.4 grams, weight will vary with size.  

Stamp and Makers Mark: The inside of the band is stamped with our maker’s mark, copyright, and STER.

Size Options:  The Necromancer ring is available in US sizes 6.5 to 20, in whole, half, and quarter sizes (sizes 13.5 to 20 are an additional $15.00 USD). We strongly recommend getting your finger sized at a jewelry store.

*Note about Ruthenium plating: Due to equipment limitations at our shop, the plating is quite thin. If the jewelry is worn daily, the plating will probably start to wear off within a week's time, especially with rings. We do offer a free one-time re-plating, and then offer re-plating services for $15.00 USD after the first time, which covers labor and the price of the return shipping to you (International shipping will have an additional charge). The color of the plating may look different in real life than on a screen due to monitor values. Unless stated otherwise, most photos are taken under studio lighting.
