The Emeralds of Girion was a necklace belonging the last Lord of Dale. The necklace was given as payment for a coat of =armor made by the Dwarves of Erebor. The necklace was described as "made of five hundred emeralds green as grass". It was one of the fabulous treasures discovered in Smaug the dragon's hoard. At the end of the Battle of Five Armies, Thranduil, the Elvenking of Mirkwood, was given the necklace by Bard the Bowman in gratitude for his assistance.

Details: The Mirkwood Elven Earrings dangle from French ear wires. Each earring  is set with a 6.5 mm round emerald green cubic zirconia. The Mirkwood earrings measures 20.5 mm long including bail, 12.5 mm at the widest point, and 4 mm thick at the gemstone and weigh approximately 5.3 grams (2.6 grams each).
