Inspired by The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings the immortal works of J.R.R. Tolkien, the Badali Jewelry artists have created Custom Cirth Dwarven Rune Rings. Cirth is the sacred rune alphabet of the Dwarves. Examples of Cirth can be found around Middle Earth™ on such items as Thrór's map and Balin's Tomb.
Details: The Dwarven Rune Ring is solid sterling silver and measures 6.8 mm top to bottom and 1.6 mm thick. The ring weighs approximately 6.5 grams - weight will vary with size. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and the metal content.
This ring is a custom item and is not returnable or refundable.
Sizes: The Cirth rune ring is available in US sizes 5 to 17, in whole, half, and quarter sizes (sizes 13.5 to 17 are an additional $15.00). Your ring size will limit the number of runes each ring can hold. See the chart below for the maximum number of runes and spacer dots that can fit on your size.
|Size 5||Size 6||Size 7||Size 8||Size 9||Size 10||Size 11||Size 12||Size 13||Size 14||Size 15||Size 16||Size 17|
Spacing: The Cirth runes can be centered to the front of the ring with a blank space at the back of the band or spaced evenly around the entire band.
Text: Your words, runes, or phrases will be engraved onto your ring using the Dwarvish Angerthas Moria runes, the younger form of the Cirth Alphabet. Cirth Runes are phonetic, meaning each rune is associated with a sound. Please use the alphabet key below to enter the letters for the Cirth runes exactly as you would like them to appear on your ring. Please separate the letters for each rune with a comma (,) and use an asterisk (*) to show you would like a single spacer dot or a colon (:) for a double spacer dot. If you don't want spacer dots between words just separate each rune with a comma.
( , separates runes / * indicates a single spacer dot)
This is how the phrase would look when written in Cirth runes:

Exactly as pictured! Crafted so delicately I can't wait to give it to the recipient. Maybe some clarification on your sizing chart would be helpful in the future
Just What I Wanted! <3
The product is perfect & just what i wanted. It was ordered as an engagement present and the finish and craftsmanship is beautiful! I am a LOTR fan and this was a very unique gift that is close to my heart and also very meaningful to signify the occasion. I'd highly recommend this product for those who are keen on getting something similar. The team was very supportive as well via email when i inquired about the customization and lettering options. Overall, i would say this is a good purchase and i am very happy with the product.
The ring fits great and looks great. I now wear it daily
Great except the paint..
The item itself is great. Maybe a hair smaller than expected, but great. Craftsmanship and looks good. Until you wash your hands... Then the black background paint starts coming off. Which would be fine because there is some beautiful oxidation under the paint (don't know why they had to paint it), except now I can't get all the paint off. Now I have a half painted ring and it's annoying. Once all the paint is gone, it should look great again, but until then I will be trying to not look too closely.
Still waiting to receive it. Shipped on May 27.
