The ancient Norse believed that the runes of Elder Futhark alphabet possessed magical and predictive powers. A ring engraved with runes, words or phrases expressing that which you most desire can serve as a positive affirmation or a talisman to attract them into your life.

Details: The band is solid 14k gold and measures 6.8 mm top to bottom and 1.6 mm thick. The ring weighs approximately 8.1 grams - weight will vary with size. The ring is set with your choice of man made gemstones. The inside of the band is stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and the metal content.

Metals: 14k Yellow Gold or 14k White Gold. 14k palladium white gold (nickel free) is available as a custom option, please contact us for details.

Size Options: The Elder Futhark rune ring is available in US sizes 5 to 17, in whole, half, and quarter sizes (sizes 13.5 to 17 are an additional $45.00). Your ring size will limit the number of runes each ring can hold. See the chart below for the maximum number of runes and spacer dots that can fit on your size.

Text: Your words or runes will be engraved using the runes of the Elder Futhark alphabet. Please enter the letters for the words (Icelandic or English) or specific runes exactly as you would like them to appear on your ring. Double letters, ae, ei, ing, ng, and th will be engraved as single runes.  Please note the chart above for the maximum number of letters/runes and spaces (dots) that can fit on your ring.

Gemstones: Spaces between words and/or runes will be divided with imitation gemstone divider dots. Choose the number stone dividers you would like ($10 per stone). Choose from alexandrite, amethyst, aquamarine, diamond, emerald, garnet, peridot, pink tourmaline, ruby, sapphire, topaz, or zircon colored stones.

Translation: Your words can be translated into Icelandic, the closest modern language to Ancient Norse (ex. Love translates to Ast), and then to runes or the English spelling of your words to runes. Some words translate to much longer words than expected, feel free to contact us for Icelandic translations before ordering.

Spacing: Your runes can be centered to the front of the ring leaving a blank space at the back of the band or evenly spaced around the entire band.
